Rhinoplasty & Chin Augmentation
Rhinoplasty and chin augmentation is a very powerful combination. Usually combined when preoperative nose is relatively large and size reduction is the plan. Due to various reasons there are parameters limiting reduction in size. When the chin is relatively small a chin augmentation can be considered for balance & harmony.
Nonsurgical option for chin augmentation
- Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (not a good option due to temporary nature if you are considering rhinoplasty under GA)
There are three main surgical options for ching augmentation
- fat grafting combined with rhinoplasty (no cuts, fat injection)
- chin implant combined with rhinoplasty (2 cm cuts under the chin)
- genioplasty combined with rhinoplasty (cuts inside the mouth)
